Design, install, and maintain vision inspection system and equipment specifically tailored for EV battery manufacturing;

  • Analyze customer's battery production processes, including electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, and end-of-line inspection, to create detailed specifications for the vision systems in alignment with customer's requirements;
  • Enhance the performance of existing camera infrastructure across all visual data parameters, including camera type, resolution, and spectrum, ensuring optimal vision system performance for EV battery manufacturing processes;
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to seamlessly integrate vision solutions into the electric vehicle battery production line;
  • Monitor the processing, acquisition, and conversion of vision signals, employing advanced techniques in edge linking and boundary detection to improve system accuracy and reliability;
  • Collaborate with software engineers to program and configure sensors, actuators, and other components within a system to separate genuine defects from superficial flaws, determine if a flaw is within the within the acceptable range of variation, and flag unacceptable defects while accounting for variations such as reflective surfaces;

Develop and execute comprehensive testing procedures to validate the accuracy and reliability of vision systems throughout the entire battery manufacturing process;

  • Test-run and adjust equipment after installation to ensure compliance with customer specifications;
  • Monitor real-time defect detection to avoid manufacturing defects like surface damage, impurities, deviations from specified dimensions, or other anomalies;
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of vision inspection equipment through regular calibration and maintenance;
  • Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions;

Provide troubleshooting and routine maintenance services to keep the vision systems running smoothly;
