Responsible for preparing hot food items from the wok station according to menu and recipe standards and customer request. To assure preparation and service is of the highest possible quality in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing and wok-cooking all specified menu items; works with a sense of urgency to meet time goals while adhering to recipe standards, and displays an attention to detail and food presentation.

• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment

• Assists Chef in menu preparation, service and breakdown of function.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required and 1 year wok cooking experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, walking, listening, speaking and smelling. Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, reaching, twisting and balancing.

The Associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up than 100 pounds.
