Tioga Downs is hiring for Part-time and Full-time Host/Hostess/Cashiers for our popular County Fair Buffet. You will provide our guests with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with the Company’s high standards of Guest Service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent guest service while actively supporting the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Offer all guests a warm and friendly welcome

  • Accurately and efficiently operate the register to accept payment from food and beverage Guests in a prompt and courteous manner

  • Bring guests to their seats, answer their questions, provide directions, introduce them to servers for additional help if needed

  • Thank them on their way out and invite them to return

  • Assist as needed to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous cashier and customer service experience highly preferred.

    The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    The County Fair Buffet operates between 5AM-11PM, 7 days a week. We are open to Casino guests between 7AM-8/9PM depending on the day of the week. Cashiers/Hosts are typically scheduled during open hours. Because we serve Casino guests, morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability may be necessary.
