Job Description summary:

Responsible for providing Guests with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with the Company’s high standards of Guest Service. Greet and seat guests based on seating plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Responsible for initial cordial reception to the Guests upon arrival and the prompt courteous escort to a dining table.

  • Verifies reservations, if required, before seating Guests.

  • May initially handle guest complaints and notify Supervisor to resolve them quickly and courteously.

  • Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.

  • Participates as a team member with, Food Servers, Bus Persons, Cooks, Supervisors and any pertinent Company Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of Guest Service.

  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to quickly and accurately confirm and/or input guest reservation into the system.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
