Who doesn't want to get paid to get a tan all summer long by the pool? If you're someone who thinks they've got what it takes for a summer full of fun then this position would fit you perfectly!

Season is from May to September!

Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.

  • Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.

  • Administer first aid as required.

  • Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.

  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.

  • Handle discipline situations with courtesy and fairness.

  • Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.

  • Enforces rules and regulations designated by the company.

  • All other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or GED required.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to use written and oral communication skills; observe and interpret people and situations.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    CPR Certified

    Current certification as Lifeguard by a recognized source of training

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
