Description

Jenny Bour at Robert Half is currently working with a growing client looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join their team! The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of three warehouse and receiving operations. The ability to direct, motivate and empower team members are characteristics required to successfully fill this position. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager with excellent communication, management, inventory control and planning skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and manage warehouse operations & logistics functions to ensure the right products are delivered to the appropriate end user and in the most effective way.

  • Arrange and plan out warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments between locations.

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices in strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

  • Maintain inventory levels, turns, and minimize aging stock.

  • Prepare annual budgets, operating forecasts, and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely and efficient service capabilities.

  • Manage and train staff to ensure productivity, safety, and efficiency.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required

  • 7+ years of experience as a warehouse or logistics manager

  • Strong inventory control and planning experience

  • Management experience and ability to lead a team

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
