Position Opening: Housekeeper

Divison: Central Services

Program: Crisis Housing

Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine manual labor and semi-skilled duties related to the janitorial of the facilities and grounds, which include but are not limited to the following, vacuum, mop, and clean common areas in the 1570 and 1590 locations. Clean client rooms upon discharge and perform general housekeeping duties. Pack up and properly store all client belongings left behind after discharge. Perform and document regular checks of buildings/rooms looking for evidence of pests. Meet with and help contracted pest Control Company with prevention/extermination process. Monitor areas treated for pests and re-apply product as needed following all safety instructions for product. Perform cleaning/maintenance of walls, stairs, floors, ceiling, windows, and doors. Take out trash for offices located at the 1570 and 1590 locations. Clean, vacuum offices and bathrooms located in the 1570 and 1590 locations. Clean, mop, vacuum, and wipe down areas, including restrooms. in the Community Kitchen

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Preferred High School Diploma and cleaning experience. Clean and valid New York State Driver’s License.

Salary Range: $32,000 - $33,950, Full Time and Annually OR $15.00 - $16.30, Part Time and Hourly.
