Position Opening: Girls Circle Lead Facilitator

Divison: REACH (Youth Services)

Program: 21st Century Grant Program (3 years remaining on current grant cycle)

Duties & Responsibilities: Assumes responsibilities for the direct provision of One Circle Foundation programming for girls associated with the 21st Century Grant in conjunction with the Niagara Falls City School District. Ensures the integration of components from a restorative justice philosophy and youth violence reduction strategy. Keeps accurate statistical and case records. Works in conjunction with Niagara Falls City School District personnel assigned to the cases in providing updates regarding the youth’s progress, as well as discussing any problems that may arise. Meets with youth and their family or legal guardian on an as needed basis to discuss progress and other related supports. Assures monitoring, effectiveness and supervision of additional program group leaders, co-facilitators, and interns/volunteers.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Science or related field; 21 years of age or older; clean NYS Driver’s License; Must have own reliable transportation; NYS State Central Registry Clearance, NYSOMH Fingerprint Clearance. Minimum two years experience working with at-risk youth; Knowledge of Juvenile Justice System and Family Court process; Crisis Intervention skills; Conflict-resolution skills; Small group leadership skills; Record-keeping skills.

Salary Range: $39,000 - $43,000 annually

Hours: Full-Time (Grant Position)

Grade Level: 4
