Position: Aurora House Team Leader

Divison: Youth Services

Program: Aurora House

General Overview or Main Functions: Supervision of Severely Emotionally Disturbed Youth. Completion of Functional Assessments and Progress Notes. Participation in Clinical Review of youth and development of Service Plans and Behavior Management Plans. Supervision of team members including recommendations for performance evaluations. Responsible for assisting residents with achieving service plan and daily living skills goals. Monitors behavior management and support plans of all youth, providing input and recommendations to ensure strength-based and therapeutic milieu. Responsible for documenting a minimum of 8 restorative service notes as assigned per month and assuring all assigned work is completed by team members, providing correction and follow up when needed.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree plus three years residential adolescent, mental health experience minimum. Minimum 21 years of age; clean NYS driving record, clean NYSOMH fingerprint record. Red Cross and Crisis Intervention training needed (Agency will provide)

Hours: Full Time, Includes evening and weekends, available holidays; limited day hours

Salary Range: $39,915.20 - $43,617.60 (based on degree & experience.)

Grade Level: 4
