Ariba, Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Specialist in Newtown Square, PA to debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for SAP software. Responsible for a product-, cross functional- or testing team with special focus to quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process. Define quality- and test strategies for products respecting defined process- and product standards. Analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities according to quality- and test strategy. Create a detailed test design including test system landscape definition and product standards, prepare tests (customizing & master data), author and execute manual and automated tests. Analyze test results (issues) and take appropriate follow-up actions. Function as subject matter expert for teams in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods and tools. Initiate process or tool improvements. Apply product domain knowledge including relevant business processes and scenarios and understanding of customer needs. Utilize programming languages and related development tools and processes.

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. The company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires 4 years of experience involving each of the following:

  • Test Automation of web-based and SAP GUI screens using Java, Java Script, Selenium, eCATT, and TestNG;
  • Database SQL with Oracle, HANA, JVM, and OS;
  • SAP ERP Project Systems, Material Management, and Procurement in S/4HANA Cloud and On-premises;
  • Maintain large scale test automation system, code repositories, and version control using GitHub and SVN;
  • Design, implement, and execute unit, functional, regression system, and integration testing;
  • Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Global Test Partner (GTP), qTest, Bugzilla, and Customer Support System; and
  • Software Programming in JAVA, Java Script, and ABAP.

Telecommuting Permitted. Position can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $115,086 - $157,320. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $115,086 -- $174,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
