Within SAP Corporate Marketing, we are constantly striving to bring out our best by applying new, actionable insights about SAP customers, prospects, and the SAP ecosystem at large. To further our mission, we are seeking a seasoned insights manager to coordinate the synthesis of research insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the collection and organization of research findings; and the analysis and application of audience insights to marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Collect and synthesize results across SAP research partners in support of priority topics across the Marketing and Solutions board area, including:

  • Build and maintain a central knowledge base, that organizes research results, data, and insights for the Marketing & Solutions board area

  • Capture and translate insights across 3rd party and internal research to support Marketing & Solution priorities Align relevant data and insights a) with active research needs across research teams, and b) in support of marketing needs

  • Create and manage regular distribution of relevant insights including emerging trends, competitive learnings, etc.

  • Collaborate with all stakeholder groups: building relationships, managing expectations, and driving progress

  • Maintain expert knowledge of trends in research methods, procedures, and tools to ensure insights management practices remain effective and efficient

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years of insights / knowledge management experience, preferably in a B2B and/or technology company.

  • Proven experience synthesizing research into audience insights and applying them within a marketing and solutions context.

  • Proven experience organizing and managing a central knowledge base, centred around research, insights, and their application.

  • Good understanding of a wide range of research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, observational studies, data analytics.

  • Ability to form connections with internal and external partners and maintain friendly, positive, and productive relationships.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly strategic mindset, including strong instincts and a demonstrated ability to surface key insights, identify research opportunities, and to develop, execute and deliver on plans.

  • An innate curiosity to dive deeper, to get beneath the surface and find that intricate detail that leads to Aha moments.

  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.

  • A driven, highly motivated nature and a commitment to improvement.
