SAP America, Inc. seeks a Project Expert - Development in Newtown Square, PA to manage the development and implementation process of SAP's products and services involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Responsible for complex and large-scale development projects of high volume or high risk or exceptional challenges in project structure. Responsible for complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works as program manager. As a Scrum Master in the context of LEAN, responsible for ensuring LEAN methodologies are understood and put into practice properly. Works closely with (Chief) Product Owner and Product Team and is responsible for delivery aspects of a project or program. Observes, evaluates, and introduces new Project Management concepts, processes, and technologies. Manages inbound and outbound communication, monitors development progress and execution of project KPIs, provides input for risk mitigations, and has prime presentation skills. Manages stakeholder actively: provides transparency on project and program status, ensures timely escalation, manages dependencies, initiates regular stakeholder satisfaction assessments. Coaches project managers.  Drives and promotes continuous improvement by initiating and leading retrospectives and forwarding impediments into the CIP process.

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires five (5) years of experience involving each of the following:

  • SAP S/4HANA On Premise and Cloud ERP, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP Best Practices, SAP BASIS, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP HANA;
  • Project management methodologies, Jira, Project Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting, Team Management, Risk, Scope, Quality Assurance and Control;
  • Define PMO functions;
  • Release Management, DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) tools;
  • Harmonized Customer Service Management (HCSM) with Service Now;
  • Development and delivery in SAP Quality Management On Premise and Cloud Solution based on 8D methodology Industry Standard;
  • Software Update Manager (SUM) and Change and Transport Management System (CTMS);
  • Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement Process value stream analysis using PDCA, 3 M's, Go Gemba, and 5 WHY's method; and
  • Agile software development and Scrum Framework.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $140,046 - $214,430. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $153,800 - $261,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and per onal performance.
