SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Business Services Senior Consultant in Newtown Square, PA to drive and execute core central IT functions, e.g. Rollout of Policies and Governance, Training, Communication, Coaching, KPI definition and Measurement. Assures that the IT Governance topics are covered within the IT projects, IT products and IT internal processes in an appropriate way. Supports escalations where necessary. Manages and supports the development of strategies that enable the achievement of corporate objectives and provides transparency on those. Plans, conceives, implements and tracks strategic and operational Change Management measures. Coaches on process and system changes. Identifies training demand, plans training activities, consults for training execution, executes training and tracks training success. Works closely with business to identify business requirements & needs for the provided services. Maintains a holistic view of the overall IT business service portfolio.

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related field of study and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related field of study and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience involving each of the following:

  • SAP support model knowledge;
  • Cloud Architecture (NET, DB and OS) and upgrade management;
  • Customer Management;
  • Azure or AWS infrastructure knowledge;
  • Service Level Agreement Knowledge;
  • Escalation Management;
  • Project Management;
  • Negotiation and Upselling;
  • System Performance analysis; and
  • Monitoring Cloud Systems and applications.

Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 - $188,672. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $126,000 - $214,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
