Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of HR Client Services Growth, the Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering HR services and solutions to assigned business areas through proactive consultation with leaders, business advocacy within HR, and collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence. This position provides a spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR support to leaders and associates within assigned business areas.

  • Provide HR consultation to executive leaders in the strategic planning process and develop human resources strategies that support business area-specific needs. Ensures alignment between HR strategy and business objectives.

  • Acts as the liaison for the assigned business areas across the HR Centers of Excellence, including talent acquisition, talent management, training, benefits, compensation, associate relations, and diversity and inclusion.

  • Collaborates with HR COEs to leverage expertise and deliver solutions that enable the business to meet its objectives.

  • Promotes leadership effectiveness and compliance with HR policies and programs through coaching of people leaders, facilitated learning programs, and delivery of standardized tools and best practices. Also, uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and associate relations, to provide tactical HR support to people managers.

  • Acts as an advocate for all associates. Recommends and implements solutions to resolve associate issues.

  • Participates in HR task forces and cross-functional initiatives.

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or equivalent work experience.

  • Three to five 5 years of Human Resource Business Partner experience in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.

  • Five to Ten years of Human Resource experience.

  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-CSP certification preferred.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within HR and within the business.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity in a matrixed and constantly changing environment.

  • Excellent client management/business literacy skills.

  • Strong conflict management/negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively envision, develop, and implement strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.

  • Ability to support multiple business units in various locations.

NOTE: AmeriHealth Caritas utilizes a hybrid work environment with associates working from home two days a week and in the office three days a week. The functions of this position will be performed onsite at our offices located at 3875 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073
