SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant in Newtown Square, PA responsible for the detailed design and implementation of business processes and enforcing innovation, service offerings, and productization. Establish and manage long-term engagement relations between customer and SAP related to the operation and adoption of digital innovation in SAP Centric Solutions. Manage positioning, explanation, and scoping tasks for non-standard services in the Virtual Project Room to support front office, solutioning, and sales. Understand the customer business goals, build the engagement and service plan for projects along our standard journey and focus packages. Support the execution E2E transformation projects from innovation identification, handover to run, up to the extension of existing solutions. Provide architectural advice for standard solutions. Resolve critical customer situations, production downs and escalations. Take lead role in delivery or development projects. Contribute to the industrialization of service procedure and SAP products with own creative and innovative ideas using latest technology. Lead through advanced technical or business skills for complete technology or industry area.

Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. The company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Position requires 4 years of experience involving each of the following:

  • SAP NetWeaver system administration and performance tuning;
  • SAP HANA administration, technical performance optimization, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis;
  • Set-up High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR), HP Service Guard, and Pacemaker clusters;
  • SAP HANA installations, upgrades, and maintenance;
  • Linux Operating Systems including parameter settings, patching, optimization, and troubleshooting;
  • Migrate ABAP, JAVA, TREX, and Content Server SAP Systems from On-Premises Data Centers to AWS, Azure, and GCP;
  • SAP MaxDB, Oracle, or SAP ASE;
  • Structured Query language (SQL) and SQL statement performance optimization; and
  • Analyze HANA standstill situations and OS and HANA Call Stacks.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,133 to $147,560. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,133 to $173,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
