Project Self-Sufficiency Parenting Instructors in Newton, New Jersey

Multiple, part-time instructors needed to facilitate separate parenting skills classes for early childhood educators and at-risk parents. Ideal position for retired educators, social workers, or those who have stayed home with their own children. Flexible schedule; teach one class per week or more, based on personal schedule.Responsibilities•Provide an atmosphere of caring and support to parents at risk of child abuse and neglect•Facilitate parenting skills classes provided curriculum•Provide one-on-one support to parents and children•Provide online classes to early childhood educators to promote child development, social competence, and self-regulation Qualifications•Ability to work independently and as a team member•Background in education or experience with public speaking•Experience in child abuse prevention field preferred•Familiarity with using digital applications, such as Zoom•Fluency in English and Spanish preferredPart-time.
