Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Neurohospitalist in Newton, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated neurologist to join our team as a Neurohospitalist at Newton Medical Center. The neurologist will also provide remote teleneurology coverage to sister site, Hackettstown Medical Center.

The schedule is 7-on-7-off with no telestroke call, EEG reading, or outpatient clinic requirements. The Atlantic Medical Group Department of Neurology is comprised of 30 neurologists and 10 advanced practice clinicians, with a network of 10 Neurology subspecialty divisions. There are opportunities for medical education and research, site or system leadership, quality improvement, and a transition of care program. The position allows an opportunity for great work/life balance and competitive compensation.

Newton, New Jersey, nestled in Sussex County, offers a charming small-town atmosphere with close proximity to major cities like New York City (about 60 miles away) and Philadelphia. The area is known for its beautiful natural surroundings, a strong school system, and many local family activities.
