This Position is for a Hatchery Worker II (HY02) with a company located in Newton.

 

Job Summuary: This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Holiday work is required. This position will perform any other duties assigned by Hatchery Manager. All Tyson policies and procedures must be followed to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. Schedule: 3:45am to 2pm (Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday with flexibility).

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Main duties are to pull chick trays from hatcher machines and arrange in separator room using a pallet jack. General duties may include a variety of tasks throughout the hatchery such as moving, handling, sorting baby chicks and eggs in baskets, buggies, trays and boxes by lifting, carrying, pushing and use of manual or electric pallet jack.

Perform sanitation duties by scrubbing, using water hoses, high pressure water hoses and sanitizing chemicals and all other tasks as assigned by manager.

 

Education and Qualifications: Will be provided by Employer.
