Seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor - $2000 Signing Bonus Opportunity!

VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join and lead as a Technician Supervisor full time.
VCA Rotherwood has been fortunate to work with pets and their people in the Newton community for more than 45 years. We are a four doctor, small animal practice that believes in the importance of dedicated client and patient care.
We believe in hands-on training and in-house employee development and we are eager to welcome a like-minded individual!
Compensation : Is based on skill set, and experience $30 - $38 / hour
In the supervisor role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Directing work flow on the floor
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Help with the interview process for potential new hires
Technician Scheduling
Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Mentoring technicians within the department
Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
This position is a working supervisory position, which is responsible for the leadership and the supervision of our technical staff. Ready to grow with a collaborative and supportive team?
