We are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled Laborer who is passionate about maintaining our park facilities and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and construction tasks at Little Buffalo State Park Complex. This includes repairing buildings and facilities using carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other building trade tools. You will also assist in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment used in the park. Additionally, you will be involved in tasks such as cement work, mowing, weed cutting, firewood cutting, litter and trash collection, material transportation, and general ground maintenance. You will also be responsible for site preparation, turf establishment, tree and shrub maintenance, and general housekeeping duties. Minor repairs, equipment handling, and providing assistance to park visitors will also be part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will need to complete necessary forms and records related to daily activities, mileage, fuel dispensing, and leave.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits.

Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 5 out of Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

This is a 24/7 operation, will work 5 out of 7 days in a week, may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
