As the Lead Installer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful installation of custom windows, doors, interior trim, and exterior trim for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project specifications, and timely completion. Job Responsibilities for the Lead Installer in Newport News, Virginia are the following:

  • Lead and supervise installation crews in the efficient and accurate installation of custom windows, doors, interior trim, and exterior trim according to project requirements and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule installations, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion.

  • Conduct pre-installation site visits to assess project scope, verify measurements, and address any potential challenges or safety concerns.

  • Manage inventory of materials and tools, ensuring availability and proper maintenance of equipment to support installation activities.

  • Train and mentor installation team members, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues or deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients during installations, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Complete installation-related paperwork, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory records, accurately and in a timely manner.
