$50,000 - $55,000 per year

We are currently seeking a Case Manager Supervisor, Community Corrections - James River who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in a residential setting. The Case Manager Supervisor, Community Corrections supervises case management services for inmates/residents and their families.

  • Supervise subordinate case management and counseling staff in the performance of their duties and evaluate as prescribed by the facility and corporate policy.

  • Assist in development, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of facility case management and counseling services on an on-going basis.

  • Review, process and respond (via corporate counsel) to lawsuits; attend court hearings, when necessary.

  • Initiate and complete investigations and inquiries with accuracy by gathering information and evidence, interviewing and obtaining the statements of victims, witnesses, suspects and confidential informers; exercise independent judgment by determining when probable cause exists to recommend or take disciplinary action.

  • Participate in drafting the responses to the contracting agency following inspections and audits with specific plans of action.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral science or a closely related field is required.

  • One year of experience in a related field is required.

  • Work experience may be substituted for academic studies exchanging one year of work experience in a related field for one year of academic education.

  • Total work experience noted in lieu of the combination of education and work experience is six years, with one of the years in a supervisory position.

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
