A Day in the Life of a Food Services Assistant Manager:

As a Food Services Assistant Manager at The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY you will be assisting the Food Services Manager in the operation of the Food Services Department. You will plan menus and be responsible for the school breakfast/lunch program.

  • Daily preparation of food for the school breakfast/lunch program

  • Planning menus that comply with various regulations

  • Preparing food for children at Roosevelts Children's Center who have special dietary needs

  • Ensuring excellent customer service

  • Ensure maintenance of equipment and kitchen area

  • Clearing and organizing kitchen area

    Who We Are Looking For:

    You have excellent customer service and intermediate computer skills. You have a High School Diploma or GED and two years of food service experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

    You have a a current, valid New York State Driver License.

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7 am to 3 pm, full time (40 hours)
