Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Public Affairs, the Web Developer will assist in all aspects of developing and maintaining the agency’s website using Kentico CMS. This is a part-time position not to exceed 15 hours per week. The employee has the option of working remotely or from the office in Newark.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with managing the agency’s Content Management Systems (Kentico).

  • Develop and maintain the NJTPA websites and related applications.

  • Administration of CMS user accounts and managing website access

  • Maintain documentation and conduct user training.

Additional Functions:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Kentico Content Management System or demonstrated CMS programming skills applicable to Kentico, IIS, HTML, CSS.

  • MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, or related fields from an accredited college or university and/or demonstrated CMS programming proficiency.
