Position Summary:

Performs a variety of marketing and digital media functions to efficiently develop content for print, online, digital, social and email marketing communications to grow online, graduate, international and other enrollment for the university. Writes SEO blogs, analyzes SEO analytics via SEO software, creates email marketing campaigns, creates landing pages for programs, organizes marketing photoshoots, generates data reports, and researches competitors’ content all with the purpose of increasing our graduate online presence. Works closely with our data research analyst to create templates and reports for internal purposes, and enrollment service managers to create content and mailings to further develop marketing tactics.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Director of Recruitment Marketing by developing content for print, online, digital, social and email marketing communications to grow online, graduate, international and other enrollment for the University.

  • Routinely write, edit, establish and oversee SEO blogs for two different sites: online programs, and admissions.

  • Interface with various University departments and units such as Office of Student Affairs, Admissions, Strategic Communications, C-CAPS, and Deans of five different schools to develop and promote strategic communications.

  • Measure and track analytics to evaluate data-driven insights to optimize enrollment marketing and communications strategies using Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEMRush, and social media insights.

  • Fully manage the department intern: handle job posting, hiring and supervision of intern.

  • Create, monitor and optimize Enrollment Management webpages (online, admissions and others) to move prospective students through the funnel and Generate Request for Information (RFI) forms and on-going Drip Campaigns to promote online graduate programs.

  • Work closely with our research market analyst to create templates and reports for internal purposes.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. At least three years of relevant experience. Higher education experience. Critical thinker with demonstrated editorial, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write explicit, concise and compelling content that resonates with target audiences, leveraging analytics and user testing to gauge the effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills. Ability to look at a process as it exists, find new efficiencies and put those changes into practice.

  • Demonstrated knowledge on the approaches to successful digital marketing and the role of customer relationship management systems with lead generation and drip campaigns.

  • Significant experience actively participating in successful integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the technological approaches to market research and digital marketing and proficiency with multiple approaches.

  • Proficiency with state-of-the-art practice tools for creating digital content (e.g., Adobe Create Cloud suite, etc.) Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in executing social media marketing campaigns, search marketing campaigns, SEO and other digital marketing platforms.

  • Knowledge of information systems, data sets and management reporting. Knowledge of CMS Systems (Drupal) and CRM tools (Slate).

  • At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Great attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven atmosphere. Must be detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, presentation and writing skills and can communicate effectively with all staff and management levels.

  • Experience in executing social media marketing campaigns (Facebook/Instagram ads, YouTube, etc ).

  • Experience in managing Drupal- or WordPress-based sites or similar content management systems.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites. Slate experience preferred. Strong familiarity with SEO best practices and strategies.

  • Experience using Google Analytics and other tools to measure user behavior. Knowledge of information systems, data sets and management reporting.
