Lead, Application Developer (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ): Evaluate current data sources and extracts being used for the Enterprise Expense Transformation, which include Redshift, Oracle, and HR Systems, and implement optimizations for data retrieval performance. Partner with other developers within the team to improve queries and optimize Redshift database for reporting. Determine ways to provide data governance and data security. Partner with the Chief Data Office to test and potentially implement tools, using enterprise level best practices. Work on an Agile team to deliver Jira story requirements in sprints. Partner with Tableau and Power BI developers to gauge report performance and optimize query return time.Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:• AWS Services;• Redshift;• S3 Buckets;• Lamba Functions;• Python;• Oracle;• Mentoring and training junior resources;• Working with Business customers to collect requirements; and• Executing technical design and infrastructure and environments strategy.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:• Anaplan;• Glue Jobs; and• Step Functions.Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.Certification: Any type of AWS certificationTo Apply: Apply online at " https://bit.ly/49r4aI5".
