The successful candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business, finance, and technical teams to deliver world-class revenue accounting systems solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. The candidate will create journal entry wrapping files and accounting and business requirement documents. The ideal candidate has a proven history of contributing to systems integrations and has a strong background in accounting. The company offers a great work environment! Accounting and FinTech Program Manager Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $70-$80/hr • Worksite: Leading podcast and audiobook company (Newark, NJ 07102 - Hybrid) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 40 hours/week, 7 Month Assignment Accounting and FinTech Program Manager Responsibilities: • Analyze financial systems integrations from a product perspective. • Create automated revenue accounting systems. • Determine how to correctly calculate and automate revenues and refunds, and conduct systems testing. • Develop work documents, including journal entry wrapping files and other accounting and business requirements documents. • Gather requirements and provide advisory on accounting processes and systems. • Serve as conduent between project management and controllorship. • Streamline program delivery across accounting by standardizing project communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes. • Gather requirements from appropriate process owners, write clear and detailed functional specifications, prioritize features and drive technical scoping as needed. • Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on the design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals. • Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions across accounting by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive the adoption and implementation of global standards, processes and programs. • Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction. Determines appropriate corrective action. Accounting and FinTech Program Manager Qualifications: • 5+ years experience in accounting and systems integration project management. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related financial field, or equivalent work experience. • Master’s degree or Accounting certification (CMA or CPA) preferred. • Experience managing accounting process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules. • Experience in systems integration and automation. • Experience in accounting projects, including requirement gathering and testing in environments with distributed systems. • Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up. • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. • Proven ability to influence and make an impact. • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
