As a Lead Production Operator, you will lead the operational aspects of the manufacturing process in a production plant, including the associated utility systems. Produce high-quality products through assembly of raw materials and semi-finished goods.

This is for our Romer Labs division which offers a broad range of innovative products and services covering mycotoxins, food pathogens, food allergens, gluten, GMO, veterinary drug residues and melamine. www.romerlabs.com

Responsibilities:

  • To lead the operational aspects of the manufacturing process in a production plant, including the associated utility systems

  • Comply with internal and ISO standards by documenting activities

  • Comply with waste management regulations by documenting chemical usage

  • Ensure product quality by conducting in-process control of semi-finished goods

  • Track stock levels of raw materials and semi-finished goods

  • Produce semi-finished products and ensure product performance and quality criteria are met by calculating raw materials amounts

    You bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Microsoft Office experience, SAP experience a plus

  • Management or leadership experience preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize
