Main activities and responsibilities for this role:

  • Design internal and external material flow processes that utilize lean manufacturing concepts and engage stakeholders through explanation of facts, requirements and best practices

  • Define strategies and vision for process optimization, minimize wastes, and decrease logistics costs

  • Implementation of future material flows and all supporting physical and IT processes and documentation

  • Create process standardizations, operator expectations, material disbursement routes, and related KPI

  • Strong data purification and analysis skills; must be able to make data driven decisions and influence

  • Drive problem solving initiatives

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the material flow processes and be able to coach others

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Safety, Material Handling, Project Office and Engineering

  • Plan for Every Part (PFEP) approach for designing the factory layout both in warehouse and in assembly areas

Who are you?

Minimum Education, Experience, and Skillset

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Engineering equivalent required

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required preferably in Industrial Engineering in Logistics and/or Logistics Project Management in an Industrial or Manufacturing Environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced understanding basic computer programs (Excel, Power Point, Word, PowerBI as a plus)

  • Strong communication, planning, organization and visualization/presentation skills

  • Greenfield and/or existing factory and process design and implementation experience

  • Proficient with AutoCAD

  • Lean manufacturing concepts and principles

  • Ability to work flexible hours (including varying shifts, possible weekends and overtime)

The annualized base salary range for this role is $74,500 to $116,600 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.As an Industrial Engineer – Material Flow you will support assembly and logistics areas by setting up and continuously improving the processes for warehouse and production. Doing that, you will be designing the future of our factory where we are assembling our innovative products.
