JPMorgan Chase CIB F&BM Global Program Management- CIB Treasury Project Manager/PMO - Associate in Newark, Delaware

This team is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the CIB Global Program Management organization to manage the broad program and project agendas of the CIB Treasury group. The work this group covers is often a mixture of projects related to Finance, Technology, Operations and Risk across the broader Corporate & Investment Bank. The role is based in Delaware and will be part of a global team.

Project/ Program management responsibilities include

  • Defining project scope, stakeholders, risks and issues

  • Drafting end to end project plans

  • Managing execution vs plan

  • Managing communication to stakeholders and Senior Management through presentations and reports

  • Building and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders in businesses our team supports (e.g., Equities, Rates, Currencies & Emerging Markets, Commodities, etc.) and functions (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance, Operations, Risk, etc.)

  • Partnering with stakeholders, providing guidance and analysis, helping identify and escalate issues/risks/dependencies and facilitating communication across teams.

  • Coordinating working group meetings, setting the agenda, preparing meeting materials, documenting minutes and ensuring clear ownership of action items.

  • Overseeing the delivery of various work streams across functions and sub lines of business

The candidate must be a self starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment, be confident and have excellent communication skills. The role will have global exposure, accountability and responsibility.

  • 3-5 years project and process management experience

  • Relationship building, influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Established track record of project delivery in a complex environment

  • Strong oral and written Communication and Presentation skills

  • Strong analytical, structured approach to problem solving

  • Strong people and organizational management skills

  • Strong facilitation skills

  • Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a changing work environment

  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated

  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan

  • Treasury, Controller, or Risk experience a plus

  • Basic knowledge of finance/accounting a plus

  • Regulatory knowledge a plus

  • Managerial experience a plus

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups) and PowerPoint
