Job Description:
The Portfolio Manager will drive a robust monitoring environment through reporting, analysis, presentations, and written updates to management. You will work closely with Credit Officers and other Portfolio Managers to analyze reports, data, and other available information and to deliver updates and presentations on the portfolio. The Portfolio Manager will follow through on potential issues raised to support a robust monitoring environment. The experience level of individuals in this role is typically at least nine years. Associated role title includes Portfolio Manager.
Global Markets Credit Overview:
Global Markets Credit (GMC) is responsible for ensuring a robust and consistent credit underwriting process for Global Markets lending and trading counterparty credit activities. GMC partners directly with Global Markets front line unit as well as risk teams in relation to client selection, underwriting and monitoring activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk disciplines. GMC also coordinates engagement with key control partners including Global Risk, Finance, Credit Review and Audit in accordance with our Risk Framework and internal and external standards.
What You’ll Accomplish:
Drive a robust effective monitoring environment leveraging reporting, data and other information and proactively identify and address issues surfaced
Provide key stakeholders timely and effective updates, summaries, and presentations to complement reporting and advise of emerging trends
Follow through on potential issues to address and resolve as necessary
Initiate exposure reporting based on expected or actual idiosyncratic events, sector moves or geopolitical events
Understand Hedge Fund and Regulated Fund underwriting and monitoring process
Coordinate and contribute to presentations in response to regulatory and senior management requests
Support enterprise initiatives and partner with applicable stakeholders across the firm on emerging topics
Required Skills:
A least 9+ years of experience with most of the experience directly related to counterparty credit risk portfolio management
Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a quick turnaround time
Critical thinking skills to evaluate and investigate information
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
A sense of urgency and responsiveness with a willingness to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility

$125,000 - $202,700 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
