As part of the Firm’s growing program of work, the ISG Cross Divisional Programs Group –XPG is seeking a Program Manager to lead aspects of the broader XPG project portfolio across discretionary & mandatory projects

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage all aspects of business analysis, program and project engagement from planning, relationships, communications, resources, budget, change management, risks & issues, metrics & reporting, through to execution
  • Provide confident leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills across all levels of the organization as required by the program
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging cross-disciplinary stakeholders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve project objectives
  • Establish & manage PMO structure including other Project Managers and Project coordinators alongside functional workstream design
  • Provide status reporting (backed by reliable data) regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Mobilize individuals & teams to deep dive issues, define solutions and solve problems
  • Assume delegated authority where required on critical reporting (for eg. Senior firm steering, Regulators, Industry forums)

Required Skills and Experience

· 10 years of experience with at least 5 years’ experience working in large-scale, cross-divisional investment banking programs · Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills · Proven ability to work proactively, creatively & analytically in a fast-paced, extremely complex environment · Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work within a global team, and manage time and tasks effectively & independently · Strong data analysis & visualization skills · Hands-on experience working with large, complex data sets via query and reporting tools such as SQL, Alteryx, Python, Tableau or similar. · Experience in all aspects of an agile software development life cycle including production support and QA. · Domain knowledge and/or project experience desirable in one or more of the following: o Front-office trading, product modeling and risk management * Fixed Income product analytics, risk & valuation * Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) * Market Risk Capital modelling and calculation

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.#LI-TS2
