New York University Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor (VCAP) in New York, New York

The Department of Anthropology at New York University is seeking applications for the position of Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor (VCAP). The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the Masters Program in Human Skeletal Biology (https://as.nyu.edu/departments/anthropology/graduate/ms-in-human-skeletal-biology.html) and will teach three courses (12 credits) each semester, including graduate level Human Osteology lecture lab, and a graduate level course lab on Interpreting the Human Skeleton. Applicants with teaching or research experience in these areas, including Bioarchaeology or Forensic Anthropology, are strongly encouraged to apply. The VCAP will also be expected to teach a large introductory-level course on Human Evolution (Introduction to Biological Anthropology) and may be asked to teach undergraduate Forensic Anthropology (or a course related to their area of expertise).

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.
