Requires a Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience structuring and executing financial transactions both in the Leveraged Loan and High Yield markets, including refinancing, leveraged buyout, incremental debt for general corporate purposes, acquisition financing, recapitalization and restructuring for public and private companies; reviewing financial analysis for clients based on business requirements for specific transactions; preparing marketing materials for clients seeking financial assistance from debt investors; negotiating terms and documentation including credit agreements, offering memorandums and debt commitment letters for clients; interacting with other teams internally (such as industry coverage, sponsor coverage, and ratings advisory) and externally (such as legal counsels, auditors, company, and investors), and working on multiple debt executions; preparing 3-statement operating models to assess debt capacity and free cash flow profiles; working on debt covenant comparisons across multiple credit quality companies and assessing compliance with debt covenants; and working with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, LCD comps, Covenant Review, public SEC filings, ratings agency reports, and equity research reports.
