Responsible for all stages of the software release cycle, including the development of the Source Code Management (SCM) system and the migration of the existing codebase to the SCM tool. Perform on-going maintenance and management of the software release process and ensure a smooth transition and expansion for SCM. Develop software applications for our state-of-the-art enterprise build systems to support evolving business needs and develop and implement an enterprise application deployment strategy using IBM UrbanCode Deploy. Participate in the administration, maintenance and ongoing support of Azure DevOps for the various globally located development teams. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Configure integration between development tools. Develop and implement industry best practices in the SCM domain. Maintain and support build and release packages for development and technical teams. Update and enhance existing software capabilities, working in an agile team using Scrum and other related agile methodology. Collaborate with different teams to design and integrate software systems; obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, and interfaces; and develop specifications and performance requirements. Use various software engineering tools to develop scripts and batch files. Requirements:Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field, plus three years of experience in the position offered or a software developer position.ORBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field, plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or a software developer position.*All required experience must have included installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD and software pipeline tools; developing, scaling, and controlling strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems; excerpting metrics and results from CI/CD deployment tools; troubleshooting issues along the CI/CD pipeline; working with third-party vendors to fix infrastructure issues; using knowledge of network essentials and system administration; deploying to cloud computing platform Azure DevOps or AWS; and working with Git, Udeploy, and Jira.Must be willing to work as part of on-call rotation for weekend maintenance and provide after-hours support as needed.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location
