BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is hiring a(n) Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (ref. Code R241971) in New York, NY.Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NYDuties: Conduct firmwide recurring and ad-hoc management reporting processes. Partner on month-end, closing process with Controllers and business partner teams. Coordinate timelines, key deliverables, and analytics across FP&A as well as with other corporate partners including HR, Treasury, Tax, and Strategy. Develop insightful presentation materials for senior management, aimed at facilitating decision-making. Work with Finance partners and broader FP&A to ensure accurate forecasts, tracking, and insightful analytics throughout the year. Act as the subject matter expert for consolidated firm-wide BlackRock P&L in support of various financial analyses and firmwide updates to senior leaders including Board of Directors presentations, quarterly earnings, business reviews, and CFO decisions on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. Proactively identify opportunities to improve and optimize reporting and analytics, while leading projects independently and with various stakeholders. Assist with policy, controls, and governance enhancements. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above listed fields and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the above listed skills.
