Vice President (Electronic Market Systems Applications) for BNP Paribas RCC Inc. in New York, NY, within Automated Market Making (“AMM”) department, will support and maintain Market Access Systems software components to provide low latency and highly reliable framework and market interfaces to proprietary trading desks. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 5 years’ experience in as a Vice President (Electronic Market Systems Applications) or related occupation providing trading support within an international bank or international financial services organization or, alternatively, a Master's degree plus 3 years’ experience as indicated above. Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) investigating and troubleshooting front and back-office issues related to various financial asset classes, including Equity, Equity Derivatives, and Treasuries; (DE) supporting client-server communication utilizing CORBA protocol as well as supporting troubleshooting multicast communications; (DE) in UNIX OS programming; (DE) with Python, Perl, or Shell Scripts; and (DE) supporting functional financial projects on complex instruments (i.e multi-leg Option strategies, complex order book).
