Summary of duties: Implement framework and controls enhancements and execute day-to-day operations for the reporting and Compliance Scorecard pillars. Contribute to the build out of an effective compliance data governance, reporting, and analysis program for Enterprise Compliance. Develop an understanding of Compliance processes and the firm’s structure including the business lines to provide insight into the risks identified by management information (MI) and reporting. Act as a point of contact for advising on and resolving the MI queries raised by businesses and Compliance colleagues. Produce and disseminate Compliance related MI to Business Heads and COOs, relevant management Committees, and Boards. Support and contribute to improving and enhancing the structure of current MI to provide more meaningful information. Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic roadmap for MI reporting both within Compliance and to other channels (e.g., Risk and Quantitative Analysis). Work closely with functional and regional teams to incorporate proposed changes in the MI production and dissemination. Play a key role in supporting the transition and centralization of MI work within Compliance. Work to better integrate MI with reporting and business risk indicators outside of Compliance. Collaborate with Enterprise Compliance data owners to define data quality check criteria. Perform data validation to ensure Compliance Scorecard and other MI reporting data accuracy and reliability. Maintain detailed documentation of Compliance Scorecard related data quality issues, root causes, and resolutions. Play an important role in end-to-end compliance system implementation. Work jointly with Core Compliance and Legal and Compliance Technology team to draft Personal Compliance system implementation business requirements and design use cases. Coordinate with different departments to facilitate the integration of the compliance system with expense and HR systems. Design test scripts and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the compliance system works as expected. Provide ad-hoc data analysis to assist business decision making. Four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote per week.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Finance or a related field, and six (6) years of Legal or Compliance experience as a Manager; Senior Associate; Experienced Associate; Business Analyst; or a related role in the consulting or financial industry. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, and eight (8) years of Legal or Compliance experience as a Manager; Senior Associate; Experienced Associate; Business Analyst; or a related role in the consulting or financial industry. Six (6) years of experience with: Developing and delivering management reporting; Synthesizing, analyzing, and interpreting data and conveying key messages to stakeholders; PowerPoint; Excel; Developing macros; Relational Databases including Enterprise Data Lake and Containing Legal or Compliance Data; SQL including Apache HIVE, Apache Hadoop, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, and Oracle; Tableau or Power BI; Python including Pandas, PandaSQL, and NumPy; User acceptance testing; End-to-end Legal or Compliance system implementation; and Working with a technology infrastructure that supports Legal or Compliance applications and facilitates management reporting. If qualifying with a Bachelor's degree, must have eight (8) years of experience with the aforementioned skills.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $165,800 - $173,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
