US Rates Product Manager

Job Description

  • Responsible for setting the strategic direction of the US Rates product roadmap

  • Form and maintain close strategic partnerships with the key electronic trading venues and other third parties , leveraging these relationships to ensure the continued strength and growth of the eTrading business in US Rates

  • Oversee the development of both the US Rates offering on Execute (JPMorgan's own FX electronic trading venue) and the US Rates Trading API, ensuring continued competitiveness via the management of key deliverables and prioritization of product expansion

  • Partner with the US Rates trading business and sales teams to identify the target opportunities for product expansion and marketshare growth

  • Negotiate with competing priorities and other business areas to ensure the most impactful technology deliveries are funded

  • Monitor the delivery of large technology deliveries to tight schedules and budgets

  • Identify the appropriate metrics to track the progress of deliveries, the success of their release and the overall strength of the business

  • Partner with colleagues in voice and electronic sales to identify the features that clients require in order to retain and grow their US Rates volumes with JPMorgan

  • Educate clients and other internal / external stakeholders on the future direction of the electronic trading business as it continues to evolve and take a greater share of the overall market

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are fulfilled as part of any new release / regional expansion

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with US Rates in either a business-aligned T echnology, Middle Office or Product capacity

  • Pre-existing relationships with the key 3rd party platforms in US Rates

  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of the Rates market

  • Team player willing to negotiate and compromise with partners across various lines of business

  • Good technical understanding of trading technology (APIs, Data Connectivity ), products in rates, and the lifecycle of a trade

  • Strong communicator motivated by the technical detail but capable of talking to stakeholders at various levels of seniority

  • Problem solver, multi-tasker, perform well under pressure

  • College degree preferred
