WTW Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst in New York, New York

This Transfer Pricing Senior Analyst position is a comprehensive role that will support all aspects of WTW’s global transfer pricing compliance function. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver who is able to independently identify, manage, solution and resolve compliance-related issues, as well as support the development, implementation, and defense of WTW’s operational transfer pricing policies.

Full-Time Remote, US Based. Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

The Role

  • Demonstrate knowledge of various TP models and experience with TP projects, including:

  • Preparation and review of intercompany agreements

  • Preparation of global core documentation and local country documentation reports

  • Transfer pricing related accrual preparation and reviews

  • Support WTW’s operational transfer pricing function, including recurring periodic transfer pricing analyses, process documentation and governance, and intercompany forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation, including Master and Local File reports

  • Learn, design, and operate financial analysis models

  • Assist in responding to transfer pricing-related audit requests

  • Support the preparation of economic analyses and benchmarking reports in support of global policies

  • Liaise with global finance managers and business leaders

  • Perform research and analysis related to transfer pricing regulatory changes and developments

  • Assist Transfer Pricing team in conducting functional analysis interviews to identify and assess intercompany transactions and engage in the preparation of functional analysis write-ups

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and keen interest in automation and digitization of transfer pricing processes, including:

  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights into the transfer pricing function and the business more broadly

  • Utilizing digitization tools in support of the Company’s technology and transformation strategy in the areas of reporting, TP documentation, operational transfer pricing, etc.

  • Support APA/MAP filings, tax disputes, business development opportunities and other ad hoc business requests

  • Assist with tax planning and other special projects, as needed

The Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of transfer pricing experience with Big Four accounting firm, law firm, or large multinational corporation

  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing regulations under Sections 482 and 6662 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field

  • Pursuit of CPA or advanced degree preferred

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and research skills

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Proactively embrace technology to enhance and improve all aspects of transfer pricing function

  • Experience with data analytics and leveraging technology (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) to develop innovative data management and analysis solutions

  • Experience in financial statement analysis

  • Ability to organize files, project plans, data etc.

  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionally

  • Strong desire to develop and advance one’s career within tax and potentially outside of the tax function

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $75,000- $80,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
