Join us as the Manager of Technical Accounting and help us ensure compliance with our accounting standards and provide meaningful & insightful information to our management team.

What role will you play?

  • You will liaise with our entire finance organization and have ownership over technical accounting research, implementation of new accounting standards, and review of non-routine transactions for proper accounting treatment.

  • This includes staying abreast of new and emerging accounting guidance, drafting accounting memos, and collaborating closely with senior management and external auditors on complex technical accounting issues. You will also coach our distributed team by creating and delivering training around existing and new accounting guidance.

  • You will partner with our various teams doing upfront consultation on new deals and support with complex contract reviews to ensure compliance with IFRS.

  • Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will collaborate with other leaders and team members to drive and deliver department-wide improvement initiatives.

  • You will have a team directly reporting to you and become part of the leadership team of our global accounting organization. As a team member who operates in a highly complex accounting & reporting landscape, you will continuously drive initiatives to improve and optimize our system and process landscape.

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years in public or corporate accounting at a large, publicly held company.

  • Degree from an accredited college/university in Finance or Accounting.

  • Prior role in a technical accounting function coupled with expertise in FRG interpretation.

  • Excellent interpersonal competence and executive presence, including written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to explain sophisticated accounting topics and financial results to senior leadership.

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with the capability to break down complex problems to determine root cause issues and troubleshoot and develop systemic solutions.

  • Experience leading and coaching hard-working global teams and managing cross-functional projects.

The base salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA, is $135,600 - $183,500; in Sacramento, CA, the base salary range is $149,200-$201,900; in New York City, NY, the base salary range is $162,700-$220,100, and the annual incentive target is 20% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
