HAKS Superintendent with MEP / HVAC Experience in New York, New York
We are currently seeking MEP Superintendents with 10-15 years of experience (5-7 years’ experience of which is managing HVAC projects) to manage projects in the NYC metro area.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Review MEP drawings for constructability, code compliance, value engineering, etc.
Coordination of MEP work.
Manage field work to successful and timely completion.
Manage and coordinate inspection staff, contractor’s trades from inception to close out.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors.
Coordinate efforts of subcontractors and suppliers.
Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Monitor contractors required compliance with safety plan requirements.
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Construction Management with significant experience managing the installation or upgrading of HVAC systems and equipment.
5-10 years of experience managing MEP work in the field on building construction sites.
Must have experience coordinating HVAC work with the work of other trades.
NYC DOB Superintendents License preferred.
Effective in managing clients, inspection staff and trades.
Ability to take charge and effectively manage contractor trades.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations with 10HR OSHA Safety card minimum.
NYCHA, SCA experience is a plus.
