Maven Clinic Co seeks a Staff Software Engineer in New York, NY. Duties: Developing and implementing responsive, accessible, and optimized web or mobile applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, react and other relevant frontend technologies; Working with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services; Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements and translate them into technical specifications; Working with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services; Ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of the frontend applications; Testing and debugging the frontend code to ensure high-quality standards and fix any issues that arise; Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative activities to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing; Maintaining code documentation and contributing to the company's knowledge base; and Contributing to the company's culture and mission by collaborating with team members, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting the overall goals of the company.Telecommuting from anywhere in the US is permitted.Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 6 years of experience in all of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Js; Responsive design and mobile-first development; Web performance optimization and web accessibility; Unit testing tools like jest and automated testing frameworks like Selenium or Cypress; Agile development environments; and Version control tools such as Git.Compensation range is $205,000 - $255,000 per year.
