Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Sr. Technical Security Engineer in New York, NY.Job Duties: Implement security practices on company platforms. Duties include: design and implement improvements to accurately identify security misconfigurations; build threat models and provide guidance on effective countermeasures; drive the adoption of cloud security policies across the company; participate in cross-team efforts to design, develop, deploy, and maintain company's cloud systems ensuring security is built from the start; maintain a line of communication with technical account managers to better use the cloud platforms' security tools and services; conduct security reviews for architectures using several cloud services, including but not limited to container related services; identify gaps and design improvements to cloud security requirements, configure assessment signatures, identify meaningful threats, recommend remediation actions, and enforce requirements across the organization; engage with other information security teams as a domain specialist on cloud security, with knowledge of container security concepts; support the implementation of cloud security practices on company’s cloud platforms; and collaborate closely with others responsible for additional areas of infrastructure security and governance.Minimum Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as an Information Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, or in a related/similar position.Special Skills:Experience therein to include 2 years of experience involving the following:1. Cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure;2. Cybersecurity;3. Software engineering with a focus on operations and delivery;4. Container security concepts; and5.
