Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Sr Research Engineer - (AGGUAJ) in New York, NY.Job Duties: Work with large-scale datasets and solve complex business and technical problems through analysis, modeling, and platform solutions; Conduct applied research and develop methodology in online experimentation, Multi-arm bandit testing, causal inference, statistical models and machine learning to solve business problems; Partner with engineering teams to build and improve internal experimentation platform to support product development; Execute end-to-end experimentation and data analysis projects in close collaborations with business teams; Develop both heuristic and machine learning algorithms and work with engineers to implement them; Define and document new metrics, methods, and techniques; Stay current on state-of-the-art technologies and publish research work; and Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Requirements: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Data Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Special Skills:Experience therein to include 2 years performing each of the following skills:1.Statistics or machine learning;2.R and Python;3.Hadoop HIVE, PIG, and SQL Server;4.Tableau;5.Python 3;6.Unix, distributed computing, Spark, Scala and Tensorflow;7.Funding patterns in data, solving problems and communicating complex insights clearly to a diverse audience; and8.Learning from literature and developing scalable solutions for business problems.Telecommute role, may work remotely from anywhere in the US.Salary: $160,125.00 to $266,875.00 per year.
