Intra-Cellular Therapies Inc. is a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company headquartered in New York City. This is a technical position in biostatistics and the candidate will assume statistical responsibilities in a progressive way over time. The responsibilities include statistical support for developing statistical analysis plans for early and late-stage clinical trials, providing statistical support for medical affairs publication and studies, analyzing data, providing statistical interpretation for clinical reports, and contributing to clinical study designs. This position is for committed, motivated, and energetic candidates who when offered the opportunity can prosper and function successfully overtime. When joining our team, the candidate will be mentored by an Associate Director or higher-level biostatistician to insure successful statistical contribution and integration in the Biostatistics Department.

  • This position is classified as a NYC headquarters position, but the role is currently working remote.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Manager needs to be energetic and prepared to learn fast (within 6 months) from the mentor and the senior colleagues in the department

  • Will assume a support role for various statistical activities led by more senior biostatisticians during the for 6 months to one year after joining our team

  • Over time, the candidate is expected to progress to support statistical sections of clinical trial protocols and also for development of the statistical analysis plans for various trials

  • The candidate should have knowledge of SAS software through his/her education and/or during previous employment

  • The candidate should be prepared, within 6 months of joining, to analyze and interpret trial data using SAS software; generate tables, figures, and reports; conduct modelling and simulation to help design clinical trials and analysis plans; contribute to scientific publications

  • Collaborate with data management to ensure high-quality preparation of study databases;

  • Collaborate with Statistical Programmers to execute the Statistical Analysis Plans appropriately

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience required

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or closely related field is preferred

  • Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology experience preferred

  • Capable of collaboratively engaging with external 3rd parties, vendors or CROs.

  • Flexible in the face of shifting needs and/or priorities.

  • Able to interface well with all levels of personnel, including peers, and other department heads.

  • Ability to produce high quality results across multiple studies and prioritize demands.

  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Sr. Manager Biostatistics Base Salary range $120K - $150K
