Netflix Sr Manager, Advertising Business Operations (Live Operations) in New York, New York

Netflix is one of the world's leading streaming entertainment services, with 247 million paid memberships in over 190 countries, enjoying TV series, documentaries, feature films, and mobile games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

In November 2022, Netflix launched an ad-supported tier across 12 global markets, with the ability to deliver standard:15 and:30 ads. Over the past year, the company has broadened the suite of advertising solutions offered and is now set to scale new capabilities that focus on live content and integrations into/around Netflix programming/IP.

The Advertising Business Operations team exists to accelerate sustained commercial performance by building and enabling the people, systems, tools, and processes to execute a rapidly scaling ads business. This Sr. Manager role will be tasked with defining end-to-end business operations, developing scalable solutions, and working cross-functionally with teams across Live advertising initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for developing the operating model and scalable mechanisms to support Live initiatives

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with demonstrated expertise in delivering complex, highly ambiguous programs with multiple stakeholders.

  • Manage complex, global initiatives that span product, engineering, marketing, go-to-market planning, talent, finance, and sales.

  • Analyze opportunities, solve problems, design and drive business improvements across the advertising organization.

  • Lead change management and communications strategies for these initiatives.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience possessing deep knowledge of the advertising landscape with the ability to support linear and dynamically ad-supported live events.

  • Strong operational backbone with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy

  • Self-starter with expertise in managing large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.

  • Collaborates effectively and embraces differing perspectives and experiences to make better decisions.

  • Demonstrated track record of innovating, challenging assumptions, and implementing better approaches.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $280,000 - $600,000.
