Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in New York City. This position is in the Business Manufacturing & Supply industry and will involve assisting our Accounting & Finance team in various tasks, including forecasting and modeling, financial statement analysis, balance sheet reviews, and data manipulation. The workplace is dynamic, requiring a detail-oriented and highly organized individual.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements to provide accurate and appropriate financial information.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate.

• Review and analyze income statements to assess the financial health of the company.

• Develop and maintain forecast models to predict future financial trends.

• Manipulate data using advanced Excel skills to provide insights and support decision-making.

• Review and analyze Profit and Loss (P& L) statements to track the company's financial performance.

• Utilize Power BI to create interactive data visualizations and reports.

• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to facilitate financial planning and analysis.

• Regularly update and maintain accurate records of all financial data.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Reviews

• Ability to work with Income Statements

• Expertise in Forecasting & Modeling

• Proficiency in using Power BI highly preferred

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in managing Profit and Loss statements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

• Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
