Sr. Data ScientistAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Sr. Data Scientist to Formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: perform analyses of varied healthcare data to evaluate programs and product solutions using healthcare medical, pharmacy, lab, survey, and utilization data; design and code efficiently using SQL and Python-based programming; extract data from multiple sources and create integrated analytics datasets, create ports and studies to address business and research questions; develop and/or use algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes; execute univariate and multivariate statistical analyses and interpret results in the context of the business program or question; conduct periodic updates of analytical routines an department production systems; perform analysis of stricter and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization; develop and participate in presentation and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions; and anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur. Multiple positions.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Also requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: programming in Python, R or MySQL; machine learning, statistics and econometric models; designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; visualization tools including PowerBI or Tableau; and experiment design for causal inference.
