Job Overview
The complex solution design role is accountable for the solution design for the most complex and largest value opportunities TFB is pursuing.
They bring together the technical leadership and complete solution design as well as the commercial construct for each opportunity working with the complex sales teams.
The Complex Soultion designer (SE) partners with the Complex solution sales team to sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge.
CSD engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to gain understanding of their business, identify their business challenges, and develop solutions which meet their needs.
The CSD architects and designs solutions utilizing T-Mobile or partner business solutions, equipment and network. CSD provide technical leadership in sales presentations, product demonstrations, as well as providing answers to customer's technical inquiries.
CSD further support complex Sales team by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales funnels. CSD will keep the Business Sales teams they support apprised of relevant technologies and industry trends. They will also consult with Sales on the technical aspects of T-Mobile for business products and services. CSD partner with Marketing, Product, SE, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams to lead complex solutions designs for our largest and most complex customer opportunities.
CSD maintain their technical skills and industry expertise by participating in internal and external training opportunities. CSD also pursue and maintain partner or industry certification as required for their position.CSD also:
*Understand and present T-Mobile wireless network and related key technologies
*Maintain expert level knoweldge of all emerging technologies and trends (AI, Blockchain etc).
*Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless-related Value-Added Solutions
*Maintain expert knowledge of external solution providers/technology companies that can be leverage by t-Mobile for our large opportunities.
*Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless handsets, mobile hotspots, tablets, and key wireless devices
*Understand and present product roadmaps as needed
*High-level portfolio awareness of T-Mobile Global Wireline Solutions network, solutions, and technologies

Job Responsibilities:

Lead technical solution design and commercials for large complex solution sales.

Maintain industry and partner knowledge on key trends/capabilities.

Lead large scale special projects to support complex sales team.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Technology related bachelors (Required)

Master's/Advanced Degree Masters in business discipline preferred (Preferred)

Work Experience:

More than 10 years Technical pre sales (Required)

More than 10 years Technical design/architecture (Required)

4-7 years Team leadership (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Communication Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills. (Required)

Sales Experience with Sales Methodologies. (Required)

Applications Proficiency with business application software. (Required)

Strategic Leadership Ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role. (Required)

Technical Presentations Ability to create and deliver technical presentations. (Required)

Subject Matter Expertise in at least TWO area of focus (SDWAN/Edge, Security, Mobile Internet/Routers, AI/Blockchain etc.) (Required)

New York Pay Range : $150,920.00 - $204,190.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
